About Pediatric Dentistry of East Texas

Equally important, each staff member is skilled in the gentle art of working with children, so you can be assured that your child will obtain both the professional and personal attention they deserve.

Guy, DDS, PhD (pediatric dentist), Lee Ann Risner, RDH (dental hygienist), Dana Cox (administrator), LaNell Modisette (patient care coordinator), Sue Hamilton (leading dental assistant), Frederica Gilmore (Insurance and patient account manager), Maria Santoyo (sedation coordinator and Spanish interpreter), Lori Letney (Orthodontic and laboratory coordinator), and Brenda Saenz (dental assistant and Spanish interpreter). We are eager to meet and care for you and your child!

Dr. Warren S. Guy, our pediatric dentist, is a board eligible member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and a member in good standing of The American Dental Association, The Texas Dental Association, The East Texas Dental Society, and the Christian Dental Society. He is licensed by the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners and has certifications from the Board for Nitrous Oxide and Enteral Conscious Sedation. Dr. Guy trained as a pediatric dentist at Children’s Hospital in Cincinnati. He also has a PhD in biochemistry from the University of Rochester in New York. He taught in the University of Florida College of Dentistry for several years. He is an honors graduate of Baylor College of Dentistry. Dr. Guy has been serving the dental needs of East Texas Children since 1978.


Lee Ann Risner, our dental hygienist, is liscensed by the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners as a dental hygienist and has certification in nitrous oxide analgesia. All other employees are certified by the Texas State Board of dental examiners in dental x-rays and nitrous oxide analgesia monitoring.
